The governnent has no right to tell a woman what she can do with her body, but more importantly, the government has no right to tell me or any religious institution they must provide something that goes against their moral code. The President has no constitutional authority to force private companies to provide a “good” at whatever price he sets. And he MOST DEFINATLY does not have the constitutional authority to force Christians, Catholics, or Muslims, or whoever to bend their own rules. The first amendment exists for this very reason, and its the cornerstone on which our country was built. The constitution doesn’t tell us what we as citizens can do. It tells the government what they can’t do. My first amendement right to practice my religion as I please and disagree with abortion and birth control and not support it will always trump your right to kill your child. If the POTUS in office doesn’t get it and decides to violate that, then he needs to go.
If you wanna get an abortion, then you pay for it. If you want to use birth control, then you pay for it. No one else should have to make sacrifices for your lifestyle choices.
