Obama’s New Campaign Poster
— Dana Loesch, “Obama’s “War On Women” Backfires”
I grew up listening to the Tom Joyner morning show sitting in the backseat of my mama’s car. I enjoyed it. It was funny. Obviously I don’t listen to his show anymore because I don’t listen to the radio (thank you Steve Jobs for the iPod). While at work yesterday, I came across an article on twitter about Tom Joyner’s blog post on Black America Web regarding President Obama. I should have been surprised by what he said, but I wasn’t.
“Forget that bin Laden was captured and killed under his watch. Let’s not even deal with the facts right now. Let’s deal with just our blackness and pride - and loyalty. We have the chance to re-elect the first African-American president, and that’s what we ought to be doing. And I’m not afraid or ashamed to say that as black people, we should do it because he’s a black man. There are a great number of people who are against him because he’s a black man. That should be enough motivation for us to band together and get it done.”
If you heard a rumbling sound as you slept, that was MLK Jr. having an epileptic seizure in his grave.
